Government Description
DESIGN-BUILD RENOVATE BUILDING 6. THE PROJECT INVOLVES COMPREHENSIVE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR THE COMPLETE RENOVATION OF BUILDING 6 (OLD CREDIT UNION BUILDING) AT THE WILKES-BARRE VA MEDICAL CENTER, INCLUDING PROFESSIONAL ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING CONSULTING, PROJECT MANAGEMENT, LABOR, MATERIALS, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, PERMITS, TESTING, REPORTS, AND TRAINING FOR BUILDING MODIFICATIONS AS SHOWN ON THE NEW FLOOR PLAN. CONSTRUCTION WILL BE PHASED TO MAINTAIN UNINTERRUPTED HOSPITAL OPERATIONS, MAY REQUIRE AFTER-BUSINESS HOURS WORK AS DIRECTED BY THE COR, AND WILL COVER THREE PHASES WITH THREE BUILDINGS PER PHASE AND A POSSIBLE FOURTH BUILDING. ALL SERVICES AND REPLACED PARTS WILL INCLUDE A ONE-YEAR WARRANTY PROVIDED BY THE CONTRACTOR AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO THE GOVERNMENT.
