Improve or and spd HVAC. Includes site preparation, demolition, and new construction of a rooftop chilled water system or similar backup system; design modifications for existing critical air handling units (AHUS) to meet ashrae standards for humidity and cooling temperature in the or and spd areas; installation of motorized automatic changeover valves; reuse of existing roof dunnage for new chillers; structural modifications including demolition of existing dunnage and reinforcement of steel beams; architectural work such as cutting, patching, flashing, firestopping, sealing, and painting in mechanical rooms; replacement of an existing rooftop air-cooled chilled water system with a new system; installation of new equipment pads and mechanical room layouts; and electrical work to power chillers and pumps from newly installed panels. The project also requires adherence to infection control measures during construction and coordination with facility operations to minimize disruption.
