Government Description
COMPRESSED NATURAL GAS (CNG) IS SUPPLIED AND DELIVERED TO THE WHITE RIVER JUNCTION VA MEDICAL CENTER (VAMC) FOR USE IN ITS CAMPUS BOILER PLANT. THE CONTRACTOR DELIVERS CNG BY TRACTOR TRAILER TO THE DECOMPRESSION FACILITY AT THE NORTH END OF CAMPUS PARKING LOT #7, MAINTAINS AT LEAST TWO TRAILERS ON-SITE AT ALL TIMES, AND MONITORS GAS QUANTITIES TO ENSURE CONTINUOUS SUPPLY. THE CONTRACTOR IS ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR THE INSTALLATION, INSPECTION, MONITORING, AND MAINTENANCE OF RELATED EQUIPMENT INCLUDING THE DECOMPRESSION SKID, MEASURING GAS USAGE WITH A UTILITY-GRADE METER, AND PROVIDING ALL REQUIRED PPE AND SAFETY TRAINING FOR PERSONNEL WHILE MONITORING ALARMS AND SYSTEMS VIA A VLAN LINK ESTABLISHED BY THE VA.
