Local guard forces U.S. Mission New Zealand. The U.S. Department of State (DOS) requires a qualified contractor to provide local guard services to support the U.S. Mission in wellington, New Zealand, and its consulate in auckland. The contractor is responsible for protecting U.S. Government personnel, facilities, and equipment from damage or loss; maintaining order and preventing unauthorized access; acting as an early warning signal for potential threats; and providing both standard and additional or emergency services as specified by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). The contractor must also ensure compliance with general orders and post orders, and conduct training programs for guards on emergency response, physical security measures, and communication protocols.
