Local guard program -- Philippines. The U.S. Department of State (DOS) requires a qualified contractor to provide local guard services to support the U.S. Mission in the Philippines. The contractor is responsible for supplying the organizational structure, management, and qualified staff necessary to ensure the safety of U.S. Personnel and dependents, prevent unauthorized access, deter potential terrorist attacks, and safeguard government property at various mission locations. All contracted personnel must pass background investigations conducted by both the contractor and the U.S. Government to certify their suitability for employment under this contract.
