Job corps is a vocational training program for youth between the ages of 16 and 24. This contract provides wraparound services with outreach and admissions and career transition services at the New York job corps center, including the south bronx and brooklyn campuses. The contractor delivers academic, career technical, career success skills, and career development training, as well as related support services for a planned on board strength (OBS) of 250 students at south bronx and 145 students at brooklyn. Additional tasks include coordinating with the learning contract provider on employability assessments, data sharing, student supervision, driver education, recreation, and social development services.
