Government Description
Northern California Area Office (NCAO) armed security guard services - contractor shall provide well-trained, highly capable security guards at shasta dam, a National Critical Infrastructure (NCI) facility. The guard force is responsible for staffing posts at locations including the shasta security control center, shasta power plant camera control room, east and west shasta dam abatements, shasta dam tour elevator, shasta dam power plant interior, and the visitor center. Duties include defending critical assets, facility entrance controls, public tour screening and monitoring, managing lost and found, dispatching and monitoring CCTV/alarm systems, and maintaining an arms room at a government-provided facility. A minimum of nine armed guards are required onsite during designated daytime hours to protect reclamation assets, visitors, and personnel until law enforcement resources arrive.
