Ever 244476, construct marjory stoneman douglas visitor center, everglades national park, FL. This project involves the construction of a new two-story visitor center building and major site improvements at the gulf coast visitor center, including providing and installing underground utilities near the visitor center and a new one-story remote concessions and storage building. Work includes all sitework around the visitor center, seawall, marina, ramp, parking lot, and living shoreline; demolition and replacement of bulkheads and seawalls; construction of a new ramped kayak launch; dredging of chokoloskee bay with on-site placement of dredged material; installation of a new floating dock system with accessible ramps; removal and installation of a new fuel system; and creation of a living shoreline along the waterfront.
