Government Description
The Department of the Interior (DOI) has prepared this day one use case to support the Office of The Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Office of The Geospatial Information Officer (OGIO) to provide license and support services for DOI's managed geospatial information systems. Work performed includes development and enhancement of geospatial data storage, governance, and management; vulnerability mitigation, help desk services, training, documentation, and technical consulting for the geoplatform Enterprise Data Inventory (EDI) project; and enhancement of capabilities for identifying and marking sensitive data and streamlining data flows. Additional services include website and software development for GIS/interactive mapping platforms, design and implementation of data management models and infrastructure to support continuous integration and deployment pipelines, and support for migration mapping, cloud architecture, and fedramp authorized GIS hosting services. The award also covers provision of requirements and recommendations for multi-agency tenant architecture, automation, and management tools, as well as support for the Imagery Data Management (IDM) project, splunk and mapbox GPS licenses, and databricks on AWS.
