Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSS) Space Power Conversion Electronics (SPCE). The SPCE Program, Sponsored by The DARPA Microsystems Technology Office, Focuses on Developing Compact, Radiation-Tolerant, And Efficient Point-Of-Load (POL) voltage converters for space applications. Includes the development of radiation-tolerant high-voltage transistors, high-efficiency POL dc-dc converters, and innovative high-risk/high-payoff radiation-tolerant high-voltage transistors, as well as printed and integrated circuits, semiconductor wafer and device manufacturing, and other electronic component manufacturing. The program addresses technical challenges related to achieving high-performance, radiation-tolerant high-voltage transistors and low-loss, high-voltage integrated circuit technology.
