THIS IS A PRESOLICIATION NOTICE An Invitation for Bids POSTED ON OR ABOUT May 15, 2024. The Amarillo Texas Veterans Affairs Healthcare Center System (VAHCS) Amarillo Texas currently has a requirement for a project to Renovate Swing Space under solicitation 36C257-24-B-0016. SCOPE: Provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, to Prepare Temporary Space for Mail Room Personnel and Environmental Management Services Personnel for preparations of a Renovation Contract at the Amarillo VA Health Care Facility located in Amarillo, Texas 79106. OBJECTIVES: The Contractor shall perform all requirements, demo and installation for all materials and components. This contract s primary focus is for 504-23-106 Renovate for Swing Space ONLY. 504-10-709 Renovate Building 44 1st Floor may be mentioned in the contract documents due to the two contracts rely on each other and this contract s purpose is to support the other. Work shall include, but not limited to the following: 504-23-106; RENOVATE FOR SWING SPACE: 1.The scope of this portion of the contract includes preparing temporary space in Building 12 & 44 at the Amarillo VA Healthcare System to briefly move Logistics to Building 12 and Environmental Serveries to Building 44. Scope includes, installation of walls, ceilings, HVAC, Fire & Life Safety, Electrical and Plumbing. Refer to the contract documents for detailed scope information. 2.Work will also include some road striping during after hours once gate is closed for ADA Accessibility. 3.Contractor will also have the Optional Add-Alternates for Room 12-002 SAFE by: a. Remove and Dispose Safe Door and Hardware. b. Remove Ceiling and HVAC Equipment above the ceiling. c. Remove Sheet Metal Ceiling and Concrete Ceiling above Safe Room. d. Remove all associated Electrical to Light Fixture. e. Remove Red Brick Wall with Associated Electrical. f. Remove White Brick Wall with Studded Wall. 4.Once the Temporary Swing Spaces are completed and signed off by the VA and the A/E under the contract for 504-23-106; RENOVATE FOR SWING SPACE , the Contractor will be assisting in the VA Services to move to the temporary positions. 5.The Following Contract Drawings Notes that contain items to be removed after the completion of 504-10-709 Renovate Building 4 1st Floor are to be excluded in this contract. a.GI911 POST BLDG 4 CONSTRUCTION PLAN BUILDING 12 LEVEL 1, b.GI913 POST BLDG 4 CONSTRUCTION PLAN BUILDING 44 LEVEL 2, c. AS101 SITE PLAN; KEYNOT 1. More detailed descriptions of the scope of work activities will be provided upon issuance of the IFB. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236118 with a small business size standard of $45,000,000.00. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00 In Accordance With (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 36.204(e).
