Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs has a requirement for general contractors to perform non-recurring maintenance, repair and construction services (including new construction) at the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System in Biloxi, Mississippi. The acquisition will result in the award of approximately six to seven Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) construction contracts for the above location, which will include a five-year ordering period and no option periods. The guaranteed minimum for each contract awarded is $2,000.00 for the total five-year contract period, with a contract maximum of $40,000,000.00 per contract over the life of each contract.

Work Details
The scope of work includes furnishing all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to perform all work associated with Project No. 520-22-122 at the VA Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System in Biloxi, Mississippi. The specific tasks include removing old original branch circuit wiring from the building and replacing it with new wiring, refinishing existing wood exterior doors, and prepping, patching, and painting the exterior of building 17. Additionally, the contractor is required to remove existing storm windows from the building prior to new work and re-install them after painting is complete.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is 120 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System in Biloxi, Mississippi.
