EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades Dublin, GA Project 557-22-700   3

Background
The Carl Vinson VA Medical Center in Dublin, GA is seeking a general contractor for the EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades project (Project 557-22-700). The goal of this contract is to enhance the facility's infrastructure to support the new Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) system, addressing deficiencies identified in the Information Technology (IT) infrastructure Facility Condition Assessment (FCA).
This project aligns with the VA's mission to provide high-quality healthcare services to veterans.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary tools, labor, materials, equipment, permits, licenses, supervision, and quality control for the EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades. The scope of work includes:
1. Upgrading electrical systems including panel upgrades and installation of convenience outlets.
2. Implementing bonding and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems.
3. Enhancing building management system interfaces.
4. Assessing and upgrading HVAC systems and controls.
5. Renovating existing spaces through demolition and new construction with appropriate finishes.
6. Installing communication infrastructure including new data outlets and patch panels with upgrades to Category 6A cabling as per ANSI/TIA-1179 standards.
7. Upgrading physical security measures across the campus.
8. Improving fiber infrastructure backbone campus-wide within and between buildings, including diversified paths to the data center for WAN connections.
9. Installing anti-static/dust preventative flooring and preparing sites for training spaces or modular buildings.
10. Conducting hazardous material abatement as necessary.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of 730 calendar days following the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will take place at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center located in Dublin, Georgia.
