Background

Bidders must ensure that all employees have completed a 10-hour OSHA certified construction safety course, while the general contractor's competent person must have completed a 30-hour OSHA certified construction safety course. Documentation of training must be submitted for review prior to any work being performed. Additionally, contractors are responsible for providing annual TB training and PPD tests for employees working at the VA Medical Center.
