Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this solicitation for the Repair and Replace Doors project at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center and Ft. Thomas Domiciliary. The goal of this contract is to enhance security and accessibility by replacing various doors, frames, and hardware across multiple buildings within the facility.

This project aligns with the VA's mission to provide high-quality care to veterans by ensuring that their facilities are safe and functional.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the project, which includes:
1. General construction tasks such as demolition and removal of existing structures;
2. Carpentry work for installing new doors, frames, and hardware;
3. Electrical work as specified in the technical drawings;
4. Integration of new doors into the existing Physical Access Control System (PACS) manufactured by Johnson Controls;
5. Compliance with environmental management systems during construction;
6. Completion of closeout documents upon project completion.

The work will take place in Buildings 1, 3, 15, and 64 at both the Cincinnati and Ft. Thomas campuses.

730 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed.
