Background
The Central Texas Veterans Health Care System, specifically the Doris Miller Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, is seeking to renovate Building 10 into a modern and fully accessible multi-story space. This renovation aims to consolidate Community Living Center and rehabilitative functions, enhancing the facility's capabilities to serve veterans. The project is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, reflecting the agency's commitment to supporting veteran entrepreneurs.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all necessary construction services, equipment, materials, and personnel required to complete the renovation of Building 10 (53,000 GSF). The work must adhere to the A/E firm’s contract drawings, specifications, technical reports, and cost estimates. All materials and workmanship must meet or exceed the latest edition of the International Building Code. The scope includes:
- Renovation of existing spaces into a modern multi-story facility.
- Consolidation of Community Living Center and rehabilitative functions.
- Provision of ancillary support spaces as budget allows.
- Coordination with third-party contractors on-site to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Generation of O&M Manuals and As Built drawings in CAD and PDF formats.
- Obtaining all applicable permits and ensuring compliance with safety regulations including OSHA standards.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance is 360 days from the issuance of the Task Order Notice To Proceed.
