Renovate BLDG. 10 for CLC | Doris Miller VAMC   7

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the renovation of Building 10 at the Doris Miller VA Medical Center in Waco, Texas.

The goal of this contract is to transform the existing structure into a modern, fully accessible multi-story facility that will consolidate the Community Living Center and rehabilitative functions. This project aims to enhance the quality of care provided to veterans by improving the physical environment in which services are delivered.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the renovation of Building 10, which encompasses approximately 53,000 gross square feet.

The scope includes:
1. Renovation of existing spaces to create a modern and accessible environment.
2. Consolidation of Community Living Center and rehabilitative functions within the building.
3. Construction services must adhere to the latest edition of the International Building Code.
4. A one-year warranty on all materials and workmanship is required upon acceptance of work.
5. Coordination with third-party contractors performing other services on-site is mandatory to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days after receiving the award and complete it within 365 calendar days.
