Background
The contract is issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the renovation and expansion of the Urology Clinic under project number 589A4-23-050.
The goal of this contract is to enhance the facility's capabilities to better serve veterans, including improvements to patient care areas such as exam rooms and waiting areas.

Work Details
The scope of work includes various construction tasks such as:
- Renovation and expansion of the Urology Clinic, including a waiting area with a capacity for approximately 29 patients and family members.
- Construction of 7 exam rooms, one equipped with a bariatric exam table and a ceiling-mounted patient lift system with a capacity of 1,100 lbs.
- Installation of waste piping in Biomed and Morgue areas, which must be completed after hours as specified in the SCOPE OF WORK LEGEND on sheet AD100.
- Modifications to existing ceiling-mounted lifts in designated rooms as indicated in the reflected ceiling plan on sheet AE120.
- Demolition and removal of waste piping back to main lines as noted on sheet PD101.
- Installation of new domestic water piping in occupied areas, requiring valving for future work and compliance with ICRA requirements.
- Coordination for system shutdowns (alarms, power, water) that may need to occur after regular business hours.
- Compliance with Davis Bacon Act for certified payroll and prevailing wage requirements.

The construction projects will be performed at the Urology Clinic located within a VA medical facility.
