Project No.: 570-17-210 Project Title: Remodel Emergency Department (ED) for Observation Bed Fresno Description: The Veterans Affairs Central California Healthcare System has a requirement to Remodel the Emergency Department (ED) for Observation Beds as well as the upgrade of utilities (e.g., Air Handling Unit AHU) All information in this pre-solicitation announcement is a draft and subject to amendment(s) and is in no way binding to the Government. In consideration of time, a draft copy of the solicitation is being posted along with specifications and drawings for review ahead of a scheduled sited visit for January 26, 2023 (see below). A request for proposal will be issued as a full and open competition. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the small business size standard is $39.5M. PSC Code is Z2DA, Repair Or Alteration Of Hospitals and Infirmaries. Project magnitude is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Potential Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for an award (See Internet Site https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/). Potential Offerors must also have a current Online Representations and Certification Application on file with SAM. This is a pre-solicitation announcement only. Solicitation documents will be available on January 20, 2023.
