Description

This document serves as notification of an upcoming solicitation for a construction- Project # 671A4-22-172, Replace Med Air and Vacuum System. The Contractor shall provide all necessary work for the removal, replacement, and installation of the Medical Air and Vacuum Systems, located at the Kerrville VA Medical Center, 3600 Memorial Blvd., Kerrville, TX, 78028. Furthermore, the Contractor shall investigate all lines on all the current systems for proper connections and leaks and make a report/list all findings. The Contractor shall replace/install (2) new skid medical air and vacuum systems in the mechanical space, on the basement floor. These new systems shall meet or exceed the specification of the units being replaced. A site visit is recommended to confirm all measurements and existing conditions. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications, and drawings of the solicitation (when available) and all applicable local and VA building codes. This project will be procured as 100% set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) used for this requirement is 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning with a standard size of $19M. The magnitude of this construction project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Contract awardee shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, training, materials, supplies, and incidentals necessary to accomplish the work in accordance with the terms, conditions, specifications & drawings provided. The VA shall issue a IFB on or about September 23, 2024, via Contract Opportunities. A site visit will be scheduled prior to the closing of solicitation, the date, time, and location will be posted in the solicitation.
