AMENDMENT THREE: Responses to RFIs provided with attachments.

AMENDMENT TWO: Site Visit Sign In Log provided, titled "S06 Attachment to 36C24823R0054 0002".

AMENDMENT ONE: Site Visit Time Change Only - Site Visit will be held at 10:30 on 11/22/22. You will be meeting COR Brian Taylor.

The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, associated equipment, and design build services necessary to upgrade and repair various deficiencies within the West Palm Beach Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Work includes replacement of deteriorated loading dock equipment and gates, pressure jetting of Building 19 Hospice storm drain, upgrade of Building 3 Community Life Center (CLC) gazebos and upgrade of Building 1 Main Hospital exterior lighting scones. Work needed due to loading dock lifts and levelers meeting end of life; exterior building lighting has deteriorated and requires replacement; flooding at Hospice requires immediate attention. Project is located within the West Palm Beach VAMC, 7305 N. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33410.
Period of Performance is 200 Days after receipt of written NTP.

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8, seeks design-build services to upgrade and repair various deficiencies at the West Palm Beach Veterans Affairs Medical Center campus.
The project aims to replace end-of-life loading dock equipment, remediate stormwater drainage issues at the Hospice, construct new gazebos in the Community Life Center, upgrade exterior lighting on the Main Hospital, and repair perimeter gates and fencing to improve facility functionality and safety.

Work Details
- Loading Dock Equipment (4.1.1): Replace dock levelers, lifts, bumpers, safety railings, and safety markings; clean equipment pits; replace power/hydraulic hoses and conduits; repaint or renew striping and railing; remove or replace dock bumpers; ensure single-manufacturer leveler compatibility and efficient bumper layout.
- Storm Drain (4.1.2): Pressure jet and snake approximately 1,500 linear feet of storm drain outfall piping around Building 19 (Hospice) to remove sediment and obstructions.
- Site Furnishings (4.1.3): Design and construct two gazebos with cement-encased columns, standing seam metal roofs, and one light fixture each; install a 16'x16' gazebo in the CLC East courtyard and a 14.5'x14.5' gazebo in the CLC West courtyard, connecting power to existing landscape lighting.
- Electrical Furnishings (4.1.4): Remove and dispose of approximately 45 exterior bracket-mounted light sconce assemblies on Building 1; install equivalent weather-sealed, LED, hurricane-rated fixtures with anti-roosting features; restore electrical connections; repair wall damage; apply matching paint where fixtures are changed.
- Gates & Fencing (4.1.5): Remove and replace damaged inner perimeter fencing sections (approximately 30 LF) and posts; install protective bollards; remove and replace sliding gate hardware and operators including recessed track rails, motors, chains, rollers, and control surfaces; replace existing access keypads with PIV-activated control systems.
