Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing a solicitation for a Conduit Duct Bank Survey project at the Northport VA Medical Center. The contract is set aside for Total Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) procurement. The completion time for the project is 56 calendar days from the date of award and NTP. A site visit will be held on May 13th, 2024, at 11:00 AM Eastern Time, and attendance is strongly encouraged. Questions and Requests for Information (RFI) must be submitted in writing to the Contract Specialist by close of business on Friday, March 1st.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide labor and material for testing, maintenance, and replacement services for Building 1, 2W Data Center at the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in New York. The work includes repairing and upgrading Data Center Uninterruptible Power Supply systems, including installation of new electrical panels, connecting to hospital grade receptacles, battery replacement, preventative maintenance services, operational testing, and commissioning. The contractor must also comply with various general requirements related to safety measures, OSHA training, NFPA standards, VA policies and regulations.
