Background
The project is a competitive Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside in accordance with 38 U.S.C. § 8127 (Public Law 109-461). The contractor will be required to provide all labor, project management, materials, tools, supplies, and equipment as required by drawings and specifications to complete the necessary work for the minor project 'Expand Mental Health Clinic' at Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center, 1111 East End Blvd, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18711.

Work Details
The work includes general construction, alterations, walks, grading, drainage, necessary removal of existing structures and construction and certain other items. It also involves complete inspection, testing, maintenance and repair for the Fire Alarm System for a period of 5 years.
Additionally, there is a deduct line item that includes all work in CLIN 0001 but removes all work associated with the new second floor Police Suite. The proposal must include a lump sum price for Line Item 0001 and 0002 (Base).

Period of Performance
The contract period includes the base contract period for general construction and a guarantee period services contract for the Fire Alarm System for a period of 5 years.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center, 1111 East End Blvd, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18711.
