Background
The Columbia VA Medical Center is issuing a Job Order Contract (JOC) for construction services from 2024 to 2029. This contract aims to expedite task orders for construction requirements at the Harry S. Truman Memorial VA Medical Center in Columbia, Missouri, by reducing design work and acquisition lead time.

The contract is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and will provide general construction work through individual task orders with a minimum value of $2,000 and a maximum of $500,000 per task order, with an aggregate value not exceeding $20 million.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, parts, supervision, project management, equipment, quality assurance, and safety measures necessary to repair, maintain, alter, or construct real property facilities at the specified hospital.

The scope includes simplified non-complex and routine construction projects that encompass various real property maintenance and repair tasks. Specific tasks may include mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing work, sitework, and other related services as defined in each task order. All work must comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a one-year base period with up to four one-year option periods.
