Page 1 of 1 INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting bids and subsequently awarding a single Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the construction of the Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) Infrastructure Upgrades at the Sheridan VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 1898 Fort Road, Sheridan, Wyoming, 82801. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Sheridan VAMC is seeking a general contractor to facilitate a construction project to upgrade the facility infrastructure to support the new Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) system in accordance with VA OEHRM Site Infrastructure Requirements (provided by VHA). This includes all data closets on campus, including outlying buildings, the main server room and the Gillette, WY CBOC which is owned by the Sheridan WY VAMC. The project shall include, but is not limited to, upgrading facility fiber throughout the buildings to each IT closet, provide a redundant fiber run throughout the facility to each IT closet, provide redundant fiber mains overhead in the Tramway, install approximately 150 additional IT outlets, install approximately 125 new electrical outlets throughout the facility, provide additional outlets in each IT closet, upgrade facility power distribution as required, upgrade facility HVAC distribution as required, replace B8 UPS system, physical security upgrades and hazardous material abatement. Contractor is to ensure construction meets the ISTS requirements and is in full compliance with the latest edition VA Design Standards and other VA Operations Manuals. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Invitation for Bid (IFB) conducted in accordance with FAR Part 14 and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a size standard of $45 million. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued in late October 2023. The period of performance is approximately 480 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. In accordance with VAAR 836.204, the magnitude of construction is between $20,000,000 and $50,000,000. This notice is not a request for competitive offers.
