This notice is for Solicitation Number 36C24227B0001, Project Number 620-20-106 and 620-23-206 Renovate Building 14 AB and CD at the VA Hudson Valley Health Care System, Montrose Campus, 2094 Albany Post Road, Montrose, New York 10548. This shall be a Total Small Business (SB) Set-Aside. As a result, all Small Businesses may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency. This project is classified under NAICS Code 236220 and has a size standard of $45 Million. The Magnitude of Construction for this project is between $20,000,000.00 and $50,000,000.00 Scope of Work: The scope of work shall generally consist of, but not limited to the following: The contractor will furnish all materials, equipment, supervision, and personnel necessary to complete the job to renovate building 14 AB and CD at FDR VA Medical Center, Montrose Campus. General Construction: ITEM I: The Contractor will furnish all new materials, equipment, supervision, and labor necessary to accomplish the work as described in the contract documents and any amendments issued prior to the Bid opening for Project 620-20-105, Renovate Building 14 AB for Residential Programs at Montrose Campus of the Hudson Valley Health Care System, New York. The project consists of the renovation of a 17,000 square foot floor to include 16 private bedroom/bathroom suites, full kitchen, 8 offices, day room, recreation room, laundry rooms, and associated therapeutic clinical and support spaces to provide specialized care for veterans suffering from unhoused conditions. Work shall comply with VA specifications and regulations, all applicable Federal, State and Local codes including specific regulations related to working at the VA Medical Center at Montrose. Work shall be dictated by contract drawings, specifications, and statement of work. ITEM II: The Contractor will furnish all new materials, equipment, supervision, and labor necessary to accomplish the work as described in the contract documents and any amendments issued prior to the Bid opening for Project 620-23-206, Renovate Building 14 CD for Residential Programs at Montrose Campus of the Hudson Valley Health Care System, New York. The project consists of the renovation of a 17,000 square foot floor to include 34 private bedroom/bathroom suites, kitchenette, day room, laundry rooms, and associated therapeutic clinical and support spaces to provide specialized care for veterans suffering from unhoused condition. Work shall comply with VA specifications and regulations, all applicable Federal, State and Local codes including specific regulations related to working at the VA Medical Center at Montrose. Work shall be as dictated by contract drawings, specifications, and statement of work. Project Completion: 580 Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). All other details and information shall be contained in the solicitation which shall be posted on www.sam.gov. The solicitation will be released on or about August 3, 2026. The response submittal address, date and time will be included in the solicitation. This project requires bonding and all responses/submissions to the solicitation to be posted later shall be emailed. No hand-carried bids will be accepted. All prospective bidders must be currently registered in www.sam.gov , www.dnb.com (Duns and Bradstreet )and be registered and verified as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) in https://search.certifications.sba.gov/ at the time of offer submission and before award of this procurement.
