Background
The project, titled Project 620-22-700, is focused on Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) Infrastructure Upgrades at the Franklin Delano Roosevelt VA Hospital located in Montrose, NY. The goal of this contract is to enhance the hospital's telecommunications infrastructure to support modern healthcare delivery. This project is a competitive Small Business Set-Aside, emphasizing the agency's commitment to supporting small businesses in government contracting.

Work Details
The scope of work includes general construction and alterations necessary for the upgrade of communications cabling in Telecommunications Rooms (TR) and the Main Computer Room (MCR) across multiple buildings on campus. Key tasks involve:

1. Phased replacement of existing structures with a new Main Computer Room building.
2. Provision of temporary fiber connections between existing MCR and New MCR, as well as between existing demarcation rooms and new installations.
3. Installation of new telecommunications infrastructure including:
- Fiber Optic Cable
- CAT 6a telecommunications cable to all locations
- Work Area Outlets (WAO)
- Racks, UPS, power supplies, and associated electrical distribution equipment
- New HVAC systems
- CCTV systems
- Fire Protection and Fire Alarm systems
- Advanced Utility Monitoring System
- PACS and doors for all buildings involved in this project.

The contractor is required to complete the entire project within 730 calendar days following receipt of the Notice to Proceed.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period not exceeding 730 calendar days from the date the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the Franklin Delano Roosevelt VA Hospital located at 2094 Albany Post Road, Montrose, NY 10548-1454.
