Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs Central California Healthcare System has a requirement to renovate the Sterile Processing and Supply (SPS) Department. The project location is at 2615 E. Clinton Ave., Fresno, CA 93703. The estimated magnitude of this construction project is between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000.

Work Details
The awarded contractor shall provide all materials, labor, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, project management, administrative support, and specialized expertise to perform the work stipulated in the Construction Documents. The project includes general construction work such as demolition of existing SPS, renovation of the first floor of the warehouse to accommodate logistics, structural reinforcement at the warehouse to support SPS equipment on the roof, full renovation of the current SPS for new workflow, new electrical service, new Air Handling Unit (AHU), new Reverse Osmosis (RO) system, and connection of bridge pathway for mechanical connection, electrical service, and RO water.
New utility connections for mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and low voltage will be installed throughout the SPS area.
The total contract duration shall be 730 consecutive calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
