Expand RO / DO Water in SPS - 36C25924Q0036 The Department of Veteran s Affairs has a requirement to provide all required supervision, labor, equipment, and materials to modify the alarm panel and provide Deionized Water to two existing cart washers in the Diagnostics and Treatment Building (building 3 also known as D/F) at the Rocky Mountain Regional Veterans Administration Medical Center (RMR VAMC), located at 1700 N. Wheeling St., Aurora CO 80045. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220 with a small business size standard of $45M. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Background
The Department of Veteran s Affairs has a requirement to provide all required supervision, labor, equipment, and materials to modify the alarm panel and provide Deionized Water to two existing cart washers in the Diagnostics and Treatment Building (building 3 also known as D/F) at the Rocky Mountain Regional Veterans Administration Medical Center (RMR VAMC), located at 1700 N. Wheeling St., Aurora CO 80045. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This project will be 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.

Work Details
The objective of the project is to modify the alarm panel and provide Deionized Water to two existing cart washers in the Diagnostics and Treatment Building at RMR VAMC. The work includes providing deionized water to two cart washers in the Sterile Processing Service Decontamination Room on the Service Level, room FS-129, and providing a remote RO/DI system alarm panel in room FS-129. The contractor is required to provide ICRA protection during construction and ensure that work causing noise, vibration, dust, or possible disruption to normal operations is done after normal working hours. The project also requires strict adherence to safety regulations including OSHA standards, VA standards and specifications, AIA Construction Guidelines, Joint Commission Environment of Care Standards, and applicable building codes.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is ninety (90) calendar days. The period of performance includes fourteen (14) days anticipated to complete initial administrative tasks.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the Rocky Mountain Regional Veterans Administration Medical Center (RMR VAMC), located at 1700 N. Wheeling St., Aurora CO 80045.
