Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, through the National Cemetery Administration, is issuing this contract for headstone maintenance services at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.

The mission of the National Cemetery Administration is to honor veterans with a final resting place and lasting memorials that commemorate their service. This contract aims to ensure that the maintenance and appearance of the cemetery reflect the nation’s respect for those interred there, adhering to strict standards of care and reverence.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all management, manpower, supervision, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary to perform headstone maintenance services.

Specific tasks include:
- Setting new initial upright headstones (up to 2,700 units)
- Setting replacement upright headstones (up to 2,100 units)
- Setting new initial flat markers (up to 8 units)
- Setting replacement flat markers (up to 75 units)
- Cleaning headstones (up to 30,000 units)
- Raising and realigning headstones (up to 2,000 units)
- Fine-tuning alignment of headstones (up to 30,000 units).

All work must comply with applicable Veterans Affairs directives and OSHA safety requirements.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026, with four additional one-year option periods available if exercised.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
