Description

The Hudson Valley Healthcare System (HVHCS) is seeking to establish a Fixed-Firm-Price contract for annual service to include operation, maintenance, repair and testing of the Water Treatment Plant and the Wastewater Treatment Plant at the Castle Point Campus and the Wastewater Treatment Plant at the Montrose Campus.
Background
The Hudson Valley Healthcare System (HVHCS) is seeking to establish a Firm-fixed-price contract for annual services related to the operation, maintenance, repair, and testing of the Water Treatment Plant and the Wastewater Treatment Plants located at the Castle Point and Montrose Campuses.
The agency's mission is to ensure safe and reliable water and wastewater services for its medical facilities, which serve thousands of patients, staff, and visitors daily.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Operation, Testing, Inspection & Maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment Plant at Montrose (12 months).
2. Operation, Testing, Inspection & Maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment Plant at Castle Point (12 months).
3. Operation, Testing, Inspection & Maintenance of the Water Treatment Plant at Castle Point including water monitoring requirements (12 months).
4. Annual inspection and Clean-In-Place (CIP) service for the Pall Filtration System and appurtenances at Castle Point (1 year).
5. Semi-annual service for the UV Plant at Montrose (2 years).
6. Semi-annual service for the UV System at Castle Point (2 years).
7. Repair services including providing and installing distribution pumps at Castle Point (1 job each).
8. Repair services including providing and installing a digester pump at Montrose (1 job).
The contractor must also ensure compliance with all relevant safety codes, certifications, and licensing requirements as mandated by NYS and Federal Government.

Period of Performance
Base Period: April 01, 2025 – March 31, 2026; Option Period One: April 01, 2026 – March 31, 2027; Option Period Two: April 01, 2027 – March 31, 2028.

Place of Performance
Castle Point Campus and Montrose Campus of the Hudson Valley Healthcare System.
