Work Details
The General Contractor (GC) will be responsible for the complete preparation of the project site, including demolition and removal of existing utilities, and the installation of new dental vacuum piping and pumps. Key tasks include:
1. Site Preparation and Demolition: Establishing work zones, implementing safety measures, and removing existing structures while ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations in the dental suite, Pulmonary Suite, and Eye Clinic.

2. Installation of New Dental Vacuum Piping: Installing new piping from basement pumps through first-floor areas to the second-floor dental suite with secure connections.

3. Protection of Existing Equipment: Ensuring continuity of operations in the dental suite by protecting existing equipment throughout construction.

4. Architectural Modifications: Making necessary alterations to accommodate new piping while restoring affected areas.

5. Fire Protection Systems: Modifying fire protection systems as needed during installation.

6. Compliance with Safety Standards: Adhering to infection control requirements and maintaining operational continuity during construction activities.

The contract will be performed over approximately 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be certified SDVOSB contractors registered in SBA's VETCERT at the time of offer submission. They must also meet bonding requirements and possess necessary contractor licenses. The project magnitude is estimated between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for a construction requirement to Replace Dental Vacuum Piping for the VA Las Vegas Medical Center (SNVAHCS) located in North Las Vegas, NV. Quotes shall be submitted only by email to David Rovner, Contract Specialist at email: David.rovner@va.gov and cc d to Charee Harris, Contracting Officer at email Charee.Harris@va.gov , by 12:00 PM PDT on November 17, 2026. Quoters are advised to pay special attention to the sub mission instructions specified in FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors Commercial Products and Commercial Services. Quoters are advised to pay special attention to the sub mission instructions specified in Instructions to Quoters 36C26127Q0072. This requirement is a total set-aside for eligible SDVOSB contractors and will be solicited as a price only procurement. Quotes will only be accepted from certified SDVOSB contractors who are registered in SAM.GOV and SBA's VETCERT at the time the offer is submitted and prior to award. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the small business size standard is $45 Million. IAW FAR 36.204, the magnitude of the project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000. 00. The duration of this project is approximately 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). **Any quotes received from quoters not mentioned above will not be accepted.** Potential Quoters must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for an award (See Internet Site https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/).
