Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10, is issuing this solicitation for the project entitled 'Replace Roof Bldg. 1W, Project #506-26-201.' The goal of this contract is to replace the roofing at the Ann Arbor VA Medical Center, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards while minimizing disruption to medical center operations. This acquisition is a total set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB).

Work Details
The contractor is required to furnish all labor, materials, supervision, equipment, and other necessary resources to complete the work as specified in the drawings and specifications. The scope includes replacing approximately 7,482 square feet of EPDM roofing on the 9th and 10th floor penthouse of Building 1W. All work must comply with manufacturer’s recommendations and applicable codes and VA Ann Arbor building standards.

The contractor must perform all work without disrupting medical center operations during normal administrative hours (8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday). Additionally, the contractor must provide construction and safety barriers as required by VAMC Ann Arbor, remove all construction debris off-site, and ensure that all work is fully documented.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is expected to be 60 calendar days starting in May 2026.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the Ann Arbor VA Medical Center located at 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105.
