Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this solicitation for the renovation of Building 26 (B26) at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center. The goal of this contract is to enhance mental health facilities, ensuring they meet modern standards and provide a safe environment for patients.

This project is part of the agency's mission to improve healthcare services for veterans.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete new construction including architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing requirements as shown on drawings and specifications. Specific tasks include:

- Complete renovation in a multiphase project to allow uninterrupted operations;
- Installation of tub room and shower;
- Patient restroom floor drains with new sloped tile floor and finishes;
- Door security and staff offices in various locations;
- Renovations to East Wing and West Wing Sally Ports;
- Construction of ADA-compliant patient rooms and bariatric restrooms;
- Installation of a concrete slab in the basement;
- Implementation of a nurse call system;
- Reworking window sills.

The work must adhere to Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) and Pre Construction Risk Assessment (PCRA) requirements.
