Background
The Veterans Affairs Illiana Healthcare System (VAIHCS) is issuing this solicitation for the demolition of multiple buildings on its campus. The goal of this contract is to safely and efficiently demolish Buildings 31, 32, 33, 34, 37, 38, 75, 81, and 83 located at 1900 East Main Street, Danville, IL 61832.

This project is part of VAIHCS's ongoing efforts to manage and maintain its facilities effectively.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, management, supervision, and all other resources necessary to demolish the specified buildings according to the project drawings and specifications. The work includes:
- Demolition of Buildings 31, 32, 33, 34, 37, 38, 75, 81, and 83.
- Coordination with VAIHCS Facility Management Service prior to the commencement of work.
- Conducting a pre-bid inspection for bidders to assess existing conditions and address any questions with VA representatives.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence on August 21, 2024.

Place of Performance
The demolition projects will be performed on the campus of the Veterans Affairs Illiana Healthcare System located at 1900 East Main Street, Danville, IL 61832.
