Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this solicitation for the installation of a concrete pad at the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHS) campus. The goal of this contract is to provide necessary infrastructure to support two storage units for the Interior Design department, which currently lacks on-site storage for equipment and furniture.

Work Details
The project involves the installation of a 90' x 61' 4" concrete slab designed to support two (2) 30' x 40' storage units. The slab will include utility runs and grounding for the storage units, which will be conditioned tuff sheds or similar structures.

Specific tasks include: locating existing utilities, preparing subgrade to required specifications, setting forms, installing reinforcing steel, pouring and finishing the concrete slab, hydrovacing an underground electrical trench, and installing electrical pathways with necessary breakers and a Christy box.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period is expected to be completed within 180 calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The construction will take place at VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System, located at 6900 North Pecos Road, North Las Vegas, NV 89086.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be verified as Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and provide a bid guarantee in the form of a bid bond. Performance and payment bonds will be required from the successful offeror within ten days of award. All proposals must comply with applicable regulations.
