Description of purpose work nature and volume: The government is looking to award a Requirements Contract that Task Orders can be issued under to cover asbestos abatements as they arise at the facility. The contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, equipment, training, transportation, and personnel necessary to accomplish Asbestos Abatement tasks in accordance with VA provided drawings and specifications. The magnitude of construction project is estimated between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Tentative dates for issuing invitations, opening bids, and completing contract performance; The Request for Proposal (RFP) should be posted on/about 04-18-2025, with proposal due within 30-45 days thereafter. Plans will be available for inspection without charge: All available information will be made available electronically when the RFP when released. Date by which requests for the invitation for bids should be submitted: There will be no physical copies provided. Set-Aside: This solicitation is a total small business set aside. Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to award a Requirements Contract for asbestos abatements at the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis, IN. The goal of this contract is to ensure that necessary asbestos abatement tasks are completed in accordance with VA provided drawings and specifications, thereby supporting the agency's mission to provide a safe environment for veterans and staff.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, equipment, training, transportation, and personnel necessary to accomplish Asbestos Abatement tasks as they arise at the facility.

The magnitude of the construction project is estimated between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This contract will allow for Task Orders to be issued as needed for various asbestos abatement projects.

Period of Performance
The period of performance will be determined upon issuance of the Request for Proposal (RFP), which is expected to be posted on/about 04-18-2025.
