This solicitation is established to fulfill the requirement for Elevator Maintenance at the Batavia VA Medical Center in Batavia, NY.

Background
This solicitation is issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs to fulfill the requirement for Elevator Maintenance at the Batavia VA Medical Center located in Batavia, NY. The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper functioning and safety of elevator systems within the facility, which is critical for patient and staff mobility.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive elevator maintenance services, including: monthly preventative maintenance, parts and labor for five (5) hydraulic elevators and two (2) traction elevators. The contractor must comply with various safety codes and standards including ASME A17.1, NFPA standards, and OSHA regulations.

All tasks must include testing, inspections, adjustments, repairs, and replacement parts as necessary. The contractor is also required to manage waste disposal of hazardous materials generated during service. Period of Performance
