FY25 VISN 21 Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC)   4

Background
The Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 21 is issuing a solicitation for a Design-Build/Design-Bid-Build Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) specifically for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns.

The goal of this contract is to execute a broad range of maintenance, repair, and minor construction projects on real property within VISN 21, with an aggregate value not exceeding $600,000,000. The contract is limited to VetCert verified SDVOSB concerns, requiring vendors to be certified at the time of proposal submission and continuously through the award.

Work Details
The MACC will cover various construction tasks including but not limited to:

- Construction, repair, and alteration of facilities
- Interior and exterior renovations
- Heating and air-conditioning
- HVAC controls
- Plumbing
- Fire suppression systems
- Electrical and lighting work
- Fire and intrusion alarms
- Communications systems
- Limited utilities
- Site-work
- Landscaping
- Fencing
- Masonry work
- Roofing
- Concrete work
- Asphalt paving
- Painting
- Storm drainage systems
- Limited environmental remediation
- Demolition of facilities
- Construction of new facilities.

Projects may involve clinical areas, specialized biomedical research laboratories, office spaces, utility systems, seismic retrofits, and parking structures. Task orders will define specific requirements for each project.

Place of Performance
The projects will be performed at various locations within VISN 21 including sites such as the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System (Palo Alto Division), San Francisco VA Healthcare Center, VA Northern California Healthcare System (Sacramento VA Medical Center), VA Pacific Islands Healthcare System (Honolulu), VA Sierra Nevada Healthcare System (Reno), and VA Central California Healthcare System (Fresno).
