Background
The Miami VA Healthcare System (MVAHCS) is seeking professional construction services to replace the roof of Building 7 at the Miami VA Medical Center, located at 1201 NW 16th Street, Miami, FL 33125. This project aims to ensure the integrity and safety of the facility by providing a new roofing system that meets current building codes and standards.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and bid-build services necessary for the construction project described as 'Replace Building 7 Roof at Miami VA Medical Center'. The scope of work includes:

- Demolishing the existing roof system including insulation, built-up roofing, weather barriers, vapor barriers, flashing, and drainage seals;
- Replacing the lower-level section of the roof with pedestrian traffic coating;
- Installing a new roofing system that complies with South Florida Building Code;
- Ensuring all materials comply with the Buy American Act;
- Providing certified installers and a manufacturer representative for inspections;
- Restoring an existing metal roof with an acrylic elastomeric coating;
- Ensuring proper disposal of all debris.

Period of Performance
