Contractor shall sign clause 852.219-75 VA NOTICE OF LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING-CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE FOR SERVICES AND CONSTRUCTION (JAN 2023) (DEVIATION) pg.18

Offerors shall submit all documentation under Section E; failure to provide an required documents and acknowledgement of all amendents will result in the offer to not be acceptable and will not be evaluated.

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this contract for the Ceiling Tile Replacement Service at the VA San Diego Healthcare System. The goal of this contract is to replace worn, damaged, and stained ceiling tiles throughout the facility to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, personal protective equipment (PPE), HEPA carts, and supervision necessary to replace 5,000 ceiling tiles per year. The work will be performed after normal working hours to minimize disruption. All tiles replaced in asbestos-containing environments must be done with proper containment and PPE.

The contractor is responsible for disposing of all Asbestos Containing Material waste with the VA Environmental Waste Department. Monthly digital reports must be submitted detailing the quantity of tiles replaced, dates, room numbers, discrepancies, and remaining tile replacements. Additionally, all personnel performing work must have current asbestos certifications and comply with OSHA standards.

Base period from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025, with four optional years extending through September 30, 2029.
