Background
The contract is issued by the US Department of Veterans Affairs for the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI. The goal of the contract is to provide construction services for the installation of data drops and power outlets in several buildings within the medical center.

Work Details
The scope of work includes providing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and other items necessary to install 196 CAT6A DUPLEX receptacle data drops, 7 QUAD receptacle data drops, 48 Normal power DUPLEX receptacle outlets, 5 QUAD Normal power receptacle outlets, 1 existing Normal power duplex relocated, and 18 DUPLEX Emergency power outlets throughout Buildings 4, 43, 70, 111, 123, 146, 147, and 148 at Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center. The project also involves integrating CAT6A wiring into existing VA network switches and tying 120VAC power into existing electrical panels. The contractor is responsible for equipment bracing and installation as well as extensive outage coordination before each installation.

Period of Performance
The project is expected to be completed within 225 calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed (NTP).

The construction projects will be performed at Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center located at 5000 West National Avenue in Milwaukee, WI.
