Background
The contract is for the renovation of a private patient bed ward (3D) at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The project involves preparing the project site for operations, including demolition and removal of existing site elements, and furnishing labor and materials to perform construction work for the renovation of the 3D ward. The new 3D bed ward will consist of 18 private patient rooms with attached bathrooms and key support spaces for staff, utilities, storage, medication, and nutrition.

Work Details
The work includes demolition of the interior of the existing 3D ward, renovation of the 3D ward, and preparation of the project site for operations.
All documentation submittal due times are local time (St. Paul, Minnesota). The contract is intended to be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type for a period of performance period of 365 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. The contractor must comply with the most current Davis-Bacon Act Wage Determination MN20230117 Mod 0 dated 1/6/23. Commencement of services under this contract is within 10 calendar days after issuance of Final Notice to Proceed.
