PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision in accordance with construction documents, drawings and specifications to complete Project 607-22-101 Renovate Inpatient Ward 7B at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital, Madison, WI, with renovation to approximately 11,000 square feet of space, and a 3,000 sf of mechanical penthouse addition. Project scope includes a total of 18 private patient rooms and medical supporting spaces, which includes the Epilepsy Center of Excellence with three patient rooms and associated support spaces. Work includes, but is not limited to general demolition and construction, interior and exterior alterations, structural, mechanical, pneumatic tube, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, technology, control, communications, furnishing and equipment items and labor to complete the project. This project shall also include work in the ceiling on the floor below where spaces need to be coordinated with staff to make available, and with multiple set-ups to complete the required work. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on Contact Opportunities. There will be a pre-bid conference held for this project and all prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid conference will be included in the solicitation package. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bids, and prior to award of any contracts, the offeror must represent to the contracting officer that it is a; (1) SDVOSB eligible vendor IAW VAAR Subpart 819.70; (2) Small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to this acquisition; and (3) Certified SDVOSB/VOSB listed in the SBA certification database at https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/ (see 13 CFR 128). The solicitation will be issued on or about 11 September 2024 with the bid opening on or about 11 October 2024. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from Contact Opportunities which may be issued to this solicitation. The project magnitude range is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220; size standard $45.0 Million applies. Time for completion is 730 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed.
