Solicitation: 36C25225B0022 Project: 550-25-M205 Pavement Sealing (CON) Location: VA Illiana Healthcare System (VAIHS) 1900 East Main Street Danville, IL 61832-5100 The VA Illiana Healthcare System (VAIHS) has a requirement to replace approximately 70 square yards of asphalt, fill cracks and small defects, apply sealant, paint stripes, and remove asphalt, and ensure proper application with 95% compaction testing on campus roads and parking lots in accordance with project statement of work (SOW), drawings and specifications thereby sustaining safe travel and safe pedestrian crossing of the facility for patients, visitors, and staff. The Scope of Work for this project includes all labor, management, equipment, and materials for directing traffic, asphalt replacement, sealing, and painting of the roads, parking lots, and pedestrian crossings on the VAIHS campus in Danville, IL. This asphalt replacement is made up of 3 separate CLINs, each to be priced and phased separately. All measurements / dimensions are approximate. The Contractor must verify all measurements/dimensions. The Period of Performance is Three Hundred Sixty-five (365) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The NTP shall be issued approximately 14 calendar days after award once required payment and performance bonds and certificate of insurance is provided. The solicitation, SOW, drawings, and specifications will be posted on www.SAM.gov. There will be a pre-bid conference held for this project and all prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid conference will be included in the solicitation package. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bids, and prior to award of any contracts, the offeror must represent to the CO that it is a (1) SDVOSB eligible under VAAR Subpart 819.70; (2) Small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to this acquisition; and (3) Certified SDVOSB listed in the SBA certification database at https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/ (see 13 CFR 128). The solicitation will be issued on or about June 24, 2025, with the bid opening on or about July 29, 2025. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from SAM.gov which may be issued to this solicitation. The magnitude of the requirement is between $25,000.00 and $100,000. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 237310 Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction; small business $45 Million size standard applies.
