Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this solicitation for the replacement of Air Handling Unit B102 at the VA Illiana Health Care System located in Danville, IL. The goal of this contract is to ensure proper air handling and climate control within the facility, which is critical for maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for patients and staff.

This project is part of the VA's ongoing commitment to improving healthcare facilities for veterans.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, tools, qualified supervision, management, and all other necessary resources required to complete Project 550-24-102 'Replace Air Handler Units B-102'. The work includes:
1. General construction tasks related to the removal and replacement of air handling units.
2. Installation of piping, fittings, and heads associated with the new air handling units.
3. Electrical work necessary for controls integration with existing systems.
4. Ducting installation as per specifications.
5. Landscaping and floor repairs as needed following construction activities. All work must comply with the provided specifications and drawings.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period is set at 330 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed on the campus of the VA Illiana Healthcare System located at 1900 East Main Street, Danville, IL 61832.
