Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this solicitation for the upgrade of fire protection and emergency notification systems across multiple buildings at the VA Illiana Health Care System located in Danville, IL. The goal of this contract is to enhance the safety and emergency response capabilities within these facilities, ensuring compliance with current safety standards and improving overall operational readiness.

Work Details
The contractor is required to furnish all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, tools, qualified supervision, management, and all other necessary resources to complete Project 550-23-102: Upgrade Fire Protection and Emergency Notification - Multiple Buildings. The work includes general construction tasks such as alterations, removal and installation of electrical equipment, fire alarm installation, cable installation, and necessary removal of existing structures.

Specific buildings involved in this project include Buildings 101, 102, 103, 104, and 14. All work must adhere to the provided specifications and drawings.

Period of Performance
The contract work shall be completed within Two Hundred Ten (210) calendar days after the issuance of the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed on the campus of the VA Illiana Healthcare System located at 1900 East Main Street, Danville, IL 61832.
