Background
The contract is for the renovation of unit 9C at the Buffalo VAMC, located at 3495 Bailey Avenue Buffalo, NY 14215. The construction documents were developed by Pathfinder Engineers and Architects under design contract 36C24219C0102. The purpose of this effort is to fully renovate unit 9C at the Buffalo VAMC.

Work Details
The scope of construction work includes a complete gut-rehab of the C wing on the 9th floor, selective demolition and construction on the 8th and 10th floor, mechanicals on the roof of C wing, and abatement of asbestos containing materials. It also involves renovating approximately 9600 square feet, including three mechanical spaces on the 8th floor totaling 3000 SF.
Hazardous material removal is required for this project. The Contractor is responsible for obtaining/providing, inspecting, and maintaining any required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and access equipment necessary to perform services identified in this SOW.

Period of Performance
The Period of Performance for the total effort will not exceed 730 days.

Place of Performance
Work will be performed within VA Western New York Healthcare System (VAWNYHS) at the Buffalo VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 3495 Bailey Avenue Buffalo, NY 14215.
