Roof Repairs at Yuma Area Office
The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation), Yuma Area Office (YAO), has a requirement to make necessary repairs on four buildings including, but not limited to, single-ply membrane roof overlay, roof curbs, curb flashing, penetration flashings, vents through roof(VTR), drains, sealant, expansion joints, roof walkway, insulation, coating restoration, skylight cages, permanent anchor points, debris removal, and debris disposal. The YDP property shall remain fully operational during the contract's performance period.
This requirement will be issued as a 100% small business set-aside.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code assigned to this project is 238160, Roofing Contractors with a corresponding small business size standard of $19M.
The magnitude of this construction project is estimated to be between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00.
This requirement will be solicited and awarded using the methos outlined in FAR Part 36, Construction Contracts and FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation. The Government contemplates award of one firm fixed price contract.

Background
The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation), Yuma Area Office (YAO) has a requirement to repair the roofs of four distinct buildings. This project is part of their ongoing mission to maintain and improve infrastructure related to water resource management in the Lower Colorado Basin. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the YDP property remains fully operational while necessary roof repairs are conducted.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for a variety of roofing tasks, including but not limited to:

- Single-ply membrane roof overlay
- Roof curbs
- Curb flashing
- Penetration flashings
- Vents through roof (VTR)
- Drains
- Sealant
- Expansion joints
- Roof walkway installation
- Insulation
- Coating restoration
- Skylight cages installation
- Permanent anchor points installation
- Debris removal and disposal.

The work must comply with all safety and health standards as outlined in the Bureau of Reclamation’s publication 'Reclamation Safety and Health Standards'.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall begin performance within 14 calendar days and complete it within 80 calendar days after receiving the award notice to proceed.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the Yuma Area Office located at 7301 Calle Agua Salada, Yuma, AZ 85364.
