YOSE 22866 Rehabilitate Hodgdon Meadows Water System and YOSE 196755 Extend Hod

Background
The United States Department of the Interior, National Park Service (NPS) is seeking to rehabilitate the Hodgdon Meadows Water System and extend the Hodgdon Meadow Campground Sewer at Yosemite National Park, located in Tuolumne County, California. This project aims to enhance the water distribution and sanitary sewer systems within the park, ensuring they meet current standards and can adequately serve visitors and staff.

The NPS is conducting this Sources Sought Notice (SSN) to gather information on interested businesses and their qualifications for potential future solicitation.

Work Details
The project involves significant construction tasks including:

- Replacement of a water distribution system consisting of 1,200 linear feet (LF) of raw water line, 7,900 LF of water supply line, and 8,100 LF of water distribution system along with related appurtenances serving various facilities;
- Demolition of an existing 100,000-gallon welded steel water storage tank and construction of a new 210,000-gallon steel water storage tank;
- Construction of a new water source well and pump;
- Establishment of a new water treatment and control building;
- Installation of 3,200 LF of electrical distribution and service;
- Construction of 3,800 LF of communications service;
- Connection of the Big Oak Flat sanitary sewer to the Hodgdon Meadow Campground wastewater system which includes approximately 3,500 LF of 6-inch sanitary sewer line, installation of 20 sanitary sewer manholes, and construction of 3 service laterals.

The project site is rural with limited staging areas along the construction route.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance for this contract is approximately 670 calendar days from the start date.

Place of Performance
Yosemite National Park, Mather District, Tuolumne County, California.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be prepared to provide Bid, Performance, and Payment Bonds as part of their proposal. Contractors should have relevant experience as Prime Contractors for federal government construction contracts similar in scope and magnitude to this project. Additionally, bidders may need to demonstrate their bonding capacity and provide proof of insurance.
